An album from 1919
This album dates from 1917/19 and was most likely created by Edith. Many of the pictures have faded because of the way they were glued into the album.
Only a few of the people have been named. A couple show German soldiers from WW1 and include Edith’s brother who served in the air corp. He later became an electrical engineer.
Please let me know if you know more about any of the people or places in the photographs.
The back of this photo is a postcard from Leo Brandenburger to his family in Norway.
The person at the front centre is possibly Leo Brandenburger
Edith and a friend
The newspapers look Swedish - possibly from Helsinki?
This picture was carefully cut out and glued into the album
From Lindalen in Norway
The English text on this picture is a surprise as it was from a time when Edith would have spoken mainly German.
Very faded - an attempt to bring out some detail.
